Kinder USA

Kinder USA has been addressing the humanitarian needs of children in both occupied Palestine and the refugee camps of Lebanon since 2002. The goals of Kinder USA are to alleviate the suffering of children and their families--regardless of ethnicity or religious beliefs--by focusing on self-empowerment through the initiation of educational, rehabilitation, and health programs for innocent beings living with the horrors of conflict, war, and occupation. Kinder USA believes that every child deserves the opportunity to flourish in an environment free of fear and uncertainty.

The Caipirinha Foundation shares Kinder USA's beliefs and goals, and its support during the height of the 2009 conflict in Gaza helped feed over 25,000 children and their families. Kinder USA's bakery in Khan Younis, which prepares bread as well as cheese, spinach, and zatar pies, was one of only ten operating in all of Gaza after the extensive damage to its infrastructure in 2009. Caipirinha's support was further used to prepare and distribute hot meals to the more than 2,000 children and their families who fled their homes seeking shelter at the bakery.
