Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Montreal Conference

The BDS 2010 Conference in Montréal, Québec, Canada will take place from October 22 to 24, 2010. The conference will feature three days of educational workshops, public events including a hip hop concert, and strategy sessions aimed at consolidating and building the Québécois, Canadian, and North American contribution to the international movement for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) against Israeli apartheid.

Omar Barghouti, Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI)
Steven Faulkner, Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU)
Faiha Abdelhadi, feminist activist and scholar, Birzeit University, Palestine
Areej Ja'fari, Palestine Freedom Project, Palestine
Invincible, hip hop artist, Detroit

As well as representatives of:

The Caipirinha Foundation will be supporting the travel costs of three international guests to the conference.
